Houston, TX Week 1

Jan. 10 - Jan. 16, 2021

Sunday, I slept really late, of course I didn't go to sleep until around 2 am sooo. I enjoyed a Resident Evil marathon, I love Milla. I collected some info for the RV parks we've stayed at on our journey, I think this would be a good time to start filling in the other areas of the web-site.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, I just knew that I was going to be able to visit a ton of quilt shops and flea markets. Not so, half the quilt shops were closed and nearly all the flea markets won't open until Saturday.  I did find 2 more quilt shops to add to my collection; Sew & Sew up in Cleveland, and Quilter's Quarters over in Conroe. I've eaten good too. I chose Shogun Japanese Grill & Sushi and had enough leftovers for 2 days. And Julio's Mexican Restaurant in Splendora had a wonderful creamy jalapeno dip they served with the chips...so good. I hit the jackpot in Conroe with thrift stores, there seemed to be one on every street corner. I am looking for a small pie plate and a tiny "Spice of Life" corning ware casserole. Really, I'm just killing time in the cold weather, LOL. I can't seem to get motivated to fill out the other areas of the web-site, maybe I just needed to do nothing for a week.

Saturday, YAY! Elard is home. He had a good time skiing out in Vail this week but I am really glad he is home. You guys keep adventuring on!
