Ocala to Milton

Nov. 17 - Nov. 21, 2019

Sunday, we had a great afternoon at the Florida Museum of Natural History up in Gainesville on the campus of the University of Florida.  One of their exhibits was "The original Gator Nation". Very clever and they had several small alligators.  They also had a butterfly exhibit. The butterflies were not very active because it was about 60 deg outside and no sun. But that made them REALLY easy to photograph ~grin~.  There were two other exhibits as well and made for a nice afternoon.

Monday, we went to lunch at the Brick City Southern Kitchen and Whiskey Bar...600 bottles of whiskey!  Oh and the food was wonderful, I had BBQ chicken and Elard had the shrimp and grits.  This restaurant is on the same square in downtown Ocala as the seafood restaurant we enjoyed last Friday.  It was a really pretty day. Elard spent the rest of the afternoon washing the coach.

Tuesday, was moving day again. We are now in Milton for a few days and then we head to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. We are staying at the Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations.  I have a ton of stuff to do before we go.

Wednesday, we had our annual eye checkups in Crestview and I intended to spend most of the day trying to learn Adobe Lightroom it is more complicated than I expected so I decided to go ahead and make our post for this week as text only.  I will get the photos in after we get back from Vegas.  We are going to enjoy time with some family and friends there and we will share it with you all after Thanksgiving.  We wish all of you the very very best for Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for what we have and the people in our lives. See you in a couple weeks!
